Transcription: What happens here is that the hit sound, since it's playing on channel 1, will always cut off the drop sound that was played on channel 1 earlier in this command set. So if you let go of any of these sprites from the top of the screen, the drop sound will continue all the way to the ground. But if you only drop it from halfway up, the drop sound is a lot shorter because it gets cut off by the hit sound.
